Privacy Policy
Effective September 2, 2026
Caldero LLC operates the Caldero website, catalog, Wine Club signup, catering inquiry forms, and account features. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information through those services.
Information we collect
When you create an account, join the Wine Club, sign in with Google or Apple, submit a catering inquiry, or update your profile, we collect the information needed to provide those services. This may include your name, email address, phone number, address, sign-in provider identifier, membership details, and messages you submit to us.
When you browse the site, our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and request timestamps.
How we use information
We use your information to operate the site, authenticate your account, manage Wine Club membership, respond to catering inquiries, send transactional emails, protect against abuse, and improve the reliability of Caldero's online services.
If you join the Wine Club or opt in to updates, we may send Caldero-related emails. You can update your profile preferences or contact us to change those preferences.
Google and Apple sign-in
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic account information that you choose to share, such as your email address, name, and provider account identifier. We use that information only to create or access your Caldero account and keep your session secure.
We do not sell Google or Apple user data, and we do not use that data for advertising.
How information is shared
We share information with service providers that help us run the site, including hosting, database, authentication, email, catalog, inventory, analytics, security, and rate-limiting providers. These providers process information on our behalf so Caldero can provide the requested services.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect Caldero and our users, or as part of a business transfer involving Caldero.
Data retention
We keep account, profile, Wine Club, and inquiry information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. Verification tokens and temporary security codes expire and are removed when no longer needed.
Your choices
You can update profile information from your account profile. You can also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational limits.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security, so please use a strong password and keep your sign-in credentials private.
Changes
We may update this policy as Caldero's services change. The effective date below shows when this policy was last updated.
